Areas of law we cover
Living Together - The law sorting out the financial arrangements for people who live together is not the same as for those who are legally married or have a civil partnership. For example, if the house is not in joint names, and you want a share of the financial benefit from the house you have been living in, you have to be able to prove that you made a financial contribution to it. The court can then decide how much, if any, of the money in the property is held by the other person ‘on trust’ for you.
The geographical reach of our network of specialist barristers is such that, subject to availability, we can offer representation at every Tribunal and court in England, Scotland and Wales.
